Busy Week.....
Well this week has started off very busy. We started with Bible School kick off on Sunday, and then we have Bible School every day this week with commencment being on Friday. Mackensie and Shayne are taking an art class offered at the library on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Mackensie has cheer practice on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Then Shayne has an appt on Friday at the doctors office.
We also had Elijah's 4 year check up yesterday and he looks great! He is growing and well I cant believe that he is 4 already. We left the doctors office and went to the dentist office for Elijah's and Autumns check ups. I am proud to say that they neither one have any cavities. We returned home and needless to say I was exausted.
With lots to do this week, it seems that all I am doing is running. But the kids are enjoying their activities. So if they are enjoying it I will for go my plans to make them happy. We are excited though we are planning a vacation in the next couple weeks. We are planning it just before school starts and are planning on 5 days. I cant wait!

What a weekend!!!
What a weekend! We have had an eventfull weekend! We started out Friday by having a goof off day! We filled up the little wading pools and the kids played in the water, then well we had a great big family water fight! It was great! The kids had a great time spraying Mom and Dad with the water hose, and taking sides on who was gonna to help Daddy get Mommy wet and who was going to help Mommy get Daddy wet! It was great!
On Saturday we went to Trade Days and spent some time there. The kids seen some shows and then we ate some popcorn and did a lot of walking. Saturday afternoon Mackensie starts sobbing with her mouth hurting. (She had been earlier that day and I guess the popcicle wore off). By the time that she told me she was hurting her pain was too far infront of her. We ended up going to Boone and meeting the doctor at the office for her to look at her. She said that it resulted from some medicine that they had used on Thursday. So she called her some pain meds in and some magic mouth wash to help heal the ulsers. We came home and gave her the pain med, and she got some liquids in her (she had not been taking anything in because she was hurting so bad) and we went to bed around 1 am. She got up this am was crying again with her mouth hurting so I went ahead and gave her meds again then I noticed that her eyes were really swollen, and I thought that it was the pain med made her sleep extra hard. I cut the light on and then I seen that her face was swollen, her lips were swollen and she had an rash from her head down her neck and all over her chest area. I went ahead and gave her a dose of Benadryl. It seemed like it made it worse! So we went ahead and made a trip to the ER. There they confirmed that yes it was quiet possibly a medication reaction. Which med, I dont know that they even know for sure. They feel like it was possibly the pain med. I am not sure my self. I feel like it may have been the Benadryl. We stopped at Old Navy for a little "therapy" that would be sure to make anyone feel better! We came home and done as directed and gave her a dose of benadryl and her steroid and some tylenol. The itching has gotten worse and her eyes are puffy again and she just feels awful! So I am sure that come tomorrow we will be making a trip to see the pediatrician. Shooo what a weekend! I am ready to hit the sack, but not sure how well I will sleep considering they told me to keep a close eye on her!
